Details of the Program
The Educational visit to Willmar Schwabe India Pvt Ltd. located in A-36 sector 60, Noida, Uttar Pradesh was organized by Vidhyadeep Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre on 24/11/2022. There were 74 students of 1st year B.H.M.S with 2 Professor DR. MONIKA JOSHI & DR. AVANI PATEL.
It is a huge company in term of area, establishment in India. Willmar Schwabe are leading firm engaged in manufacturing of wide range of liquid oral syrup and tonics, specially drops, globules, tablets etc. owing to features like safe consumption, high effectiveness and prescribe composition, these products are highly acclaimed in market.
There were many rooms like granulation room. Tablets compression room, mother tincture preparation room, dilution room, R&T room.
We reached the company at 9:30 AM. First, we took attendance of all students and gave instructions about company and importance of visit then all students entered in company. All students were divided into groups and seen different departments of company. They took photographs of different machines & wrote details about it. We explored the company for 3 hours. And last took a group photograph and had lunch over there.
After we went for CENTRAL COUNCIL FOR RESEARCH IN HOMOEOPATHY, NEW DELHI, INDIA. At 2:00 pm. All the students were divided into groups. After they explain nicely about their all department, How research takes place and what are the criteria. They educate students about Research work then with high tea with us there were question answer sessions done with them.
Learning science from first-hand information through observation in the field is much important in making the subject unforgettable and long-life understanding. Such practical activity is used for relating the concept with actual life of the students. Thus, the educational tour for visit to WILLMAR SCHWABE INDIA PVT. LTD. & CCRH. Played a greater role for students to appreciate systems and learn more about homoeopathic pharmacy.
