Details of the Program
On 2nd September 2022 for real life exposure and experimental learning Department of Community of Medicine, Vidhyadeep Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre organized educational visit to the PHC, Kim (Primary Health Care) for the students of 4th BHMS on date 2nd September 2022. This was an opportunity wherein student experienced the real world in a better way and correlated with textbook learning. The main aim of this visit was to have an insight on the students has got knowledge about functions of PHC, different National Health Program, Cold chain room & MCH as per guidelines of National Commission for Homoeopathy and Ministry of Ayush, Department of Family and welfare, Government of India.
Students got an excellent opportunity for participating in the immunization clinic. They also got a chance to see the real cold chain equipment’s. Medical officer explained them about the various services available there and gave us an opportunity to visits the various departments. We completed our field visit by 1:45pm.
